What is Après-Ski?
Do you really need this explained to you? Maybe you have already forgotten that epic week in Val d’isere over New Year due to the fact you spent the majority of that week in one of the many bars (Bananas, Saloon, Dicks Tea Bar etc) rather than actually on the slopes! Well my friends, that is because you spent your entire holiday enjoying too much “Après-Ski”.
Après-Ski is a term used for when you head off the mountain after a long day on the slopes and enjoy a glass of Vin Chaud in a cosy bar or perhaps 5 pints of the trademark ‘Freestyler’ from Banana Bar in Val d’isere. Either of which is an enjoyable few hours after a long day on the slopes in a bar, usually from 3pm onwards, which sometimes leads to an all-nighter!
