BIG SKY & MOONLIGHT BASIN are resorts nestled together on Lone Mountain.
Lone Mountain may find you on long groomers, hidden glades or wild chutes. An area of outstanding natural beauty and the place to enjoy awesome back country powder, husky sledging and snowmobile safaris.

A bit about Matt/b>
Grew up in San Francisco California. Been skiing since between the legs of my parents (18 years now?). Currently studying at MSU Bozeman, which is 45 minutes from Big Sky/Moonlight. When not studying here, I live in Paris, France, making ski trips to Chamonix, and Meribel!
What are you doing for work on your season?
Work? Well, skiing is work. My job description should be: straight-lines, tree skiing, deep powder eating, steeps, cliffs, and a bit of education.
Is this your 1st season or are you a returning Seasonnaire?
Yes
Skier/boarder
Skier.
Favourite Rider
Ooh, either Eric Deslauriers (old ski coach, Warren Miller skier circa 1980's), or Seth Morrison.
What you are looking forward to the most this season
Wearing a snorkel so I can breathe under snow.
One goal you have set yourself to achieve for 08/09 season?
The Scar. (A gnarly line at Bridger Bowl.. 50 degrees, sustained, with a mandatory 40 foot cliff at the end). And choke on powder.
Any advice out there for people contemplating a ski season
Ride because you love it! Not to be cool, or in a click. Love your snow, because it won't be here for long
