St Anton am Alberg is an insane ski resort located in the Tyrolean region of the Austrian Alps.

Connecting with Lech, St Christoph and Stuben, the ski area is massive. Combine this with a dangerous mix of the biggest partying scene in the European Alps, Seasonnaires from England, Scandinavia and Australia and it is easy to see why St Anton is the mother of all Seasonnaire Ski resorts.

A bit about Ashley
I studied at Kings College London, and speak fluent French and German. I was born in Scotland and get itchy feet if I stay in the same country for more than 6 months. I ride professionally, am a dive master, play golf and love skiing. My second biggest pleasure is reading and my favourite author is Tolstoy. I am an atheist and have an old soul.

What are you doing for work on your season?
Anwarter, and BASI level 2, plus teaching at the St. Anton am Arlberg ski school. Perhaps a part time bar job.

Is this your 1st season or are you a returning Seasonnaire?
I am a returning seasonnaire. I did a season working in a bar in Meribel before university.

Don’t have a favourite –maybe Sankt Moritz because I’ve never been there.

What you are looking forward to the most this season
Making a whole load of new friends, the sun, the Austrian music and beer, the Alpine lifestyle and skiing!

One goal you have set yourself to achieve for 08/09 season?
To curb my affliction for beer and make lots of new friends.

Any advice out there for people contemplating a ski season
It’s more fun if you’re single, speak the language, aren’t afraid of the cold, and are up for anything.

I’m 24, just finished law school and decided to take some time out doing a season before entering the real world. Looking forward to 5 months of sun, snow and parties!

What are you doing for work this season?
Working as a chalet host (I’ll let you know how it goes, not entirely sure what I am letting myself in for!)

Not sure that I have a role model, there are lots of people I admire for different reasons, and it a combination of their attributes that inspire me.

Skiing everyday, powder and parties!

Be able to land my jumps!

Both.. started boarding last season in a quest to be cool

St Anton...tis the best of the best.

Haven't a clue....if only kelly slater snowboarded.

What you are looking forward to the most this season
Spending 5 months with an awesome bunch of people, boarding by day and partying by night with no worries apart from whether snowflakes are falling.

One goal you have set yourself to achieve for 08/09 season?
To have as much fun as last year but keep my chalet girl bum in check

Any advice out there for people contemplating a ski season
Do it do it do it, it will be the best but worst paid job you will ever do. Just remember to embrace the hangovers.. learn to love them.
