A bit about Lauren
My name is Lauren McCarthy; I am 19 and currently a 2nd year at Portsmouth University studying Marketing. I work in Jack Wills part time in Portsmouth and love it! My friends would describe me as a 'walking catalogue'!! (Just because most of my clothes are JW.) I come from a little place called surrey....Where i live with parents and sister. I would describe myself as easy going and confident, with a passion for life.

What are you doing for work on your season?
I am working a ski rep for a company called 'On the Piste' which is a company which organises ski holidays for students, both school and university.

Is this your 1st season or are you a returning Seasonnaire?
It will be my first ski season, so it will be a brand new experience and i am very excited!

Favourite Resort
Id say my favourite resort is Val D'Isere.

What you are looking forward to the most this season
What I’m looking forward to most this season is getting to meet lots of new people, getting involved with Jack Wills, exploring more of France, snow and of course skiing!

One goal you have set yourself to achieve for 08/09 season?
I have only been skiing once before in my life, so my goal for the 08'/09' season would be to become an excellent skier, and im a quick learner, so I hope that’s possible.

Any advice out there for people contemplating a ski season
Advice that I have for people contemplating a ski season would be to, just do it! You only live once!
